Shortbread Vending Machine

It’s not every day you can say you worked on a Vending Machine. Especially one that dispenses shortbread!

I had the privilege of animating the screens for each question, which if all four are answered correctly you get a nice piece of shortbread before your flight.

This one challenged me to think in new ways and see how it can all work together with the help of the front end developers. Each question was divided into start, middle and end, and exported in modular pieces so the developers could work their magic and add the buttons.

Situated in Edinburgh Airport - it was a massive hit with passengers and staff.

Definitely a project I’d like to do again one day! Also, it’s one of those projects that would of been easier to do in a program such as Rive, for that interactive element being built in, but alas, this was before we knew about programs such as these.
